"As you know I started feeding my staffy BARF after he suffered 3 bad ear infections in the space of 6 months (I won't go into the vet costs!).  We got him at 6 months of age and from day one he suffered from bad wind.  He was fed "premium" dog food and I tried swapping brands a few times to see if that would help - all to no avail.  I found BARF online and thought I'd give it a go.  5 months later no ear problems, his coat is shiny, he hardly scratches, is full of energy
, and, as a bonus his wind problems disappeared within 3 days of being on his new diet.  I now have my 5 1/2 year old staffy and my 6 month old kitten on BARF - they all love it!  Thank you."

"THANK GOODNESS FOR BARF.

Owning a German Shepherd who cost us a fortune at the vets, with visit after visit and constant cortisone tablets and injections, trying expensive and almost impossible food elimination diets to try and determine allergies, finally we were recommended the  BARF diet.  What a lifesaver!  Charlie is a different dog.  We save money in vet bills, it is easy, no waste, better for him and he loves it.

We have been using BARF for 2 years now, our 2 German Shepherds and now our new poodle pup all love it.  They are all healthy, their coats shine, no large stinky poo’s and everybody is happy.

Hoorah for Barf"

"We started feeding Max BARF when he was a young puppy and we have never looked back.  Thanks to BARF we have been able to maintain a very healthy weight range and enjoy the benefits of our healthy dog.  Max is now nine years of age and has brilliant white teeth (he LOVES his raw meaty bones!).  He has a lovely coat and so much energy.  Thanks so much Canine Country."

"I have been feeding and raising my Westies on the BARF diet now for over 5 years.  The satisfaction of giving my dogs the best chance of a long, healthy life is reinforced every time I attend the vets with a new litter of pups.  There is always a comment on the uniform sizing and health of the newborns.

You can see by the consistency of the product your dogs are eating real food, without the fillers and other nasties.

I do not hesitate to recommend the Barf diet to all dog owners."

"I have been using natural food products for my dog Charley who is a blue Heeler x Jack Russell since he was a puppy, but when I was introduced to the Canine Country Barf products I found not only a great food, but  a very convenient and inexpensive way of feeding.  The different flavours are much appreciated by Charley and he always eats every scrap of his dinner.  I appreciate that there are many good things in the food and so I do not have to add any vitamins and I am sure that he is a much fitter and active dog who maintains his correct weight all the time."

"Dear Tracy,

RexRubyThank you for supplying BARF to me & my pets, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the product.  I would not feed anything else to my dogs or cats! Raw & fresh is the best, Rex & Ruby are very healthy and happy with beautiful coats and so much energy!  I can say that illness/skin condition is no issue for them and I truly believe this is because of their diet.  It is great that you can supply raw bones as well, they are so important for good teeth and calcium, and I can get it all from you!  I must also say that Sid, my oldest cat has been well since eating BARF.  Sid's urinary tract problem has not returned and I know he appreciates the raw meat as opposed to a dry food and preserved diet, oh and he loves his chicken necks!

Many, many, thanks!"

"We are very happy with the Canine Country food range that BARF Natural Dog Food stocks.  Our dog, Jerry-Lee, had sebaceous cysts all over his body and now after being on the BARF food for 6 months, they have cleared up!

He absolutely loves it!"

"I first began feeding the BARF diet approximately 4 years ago, when my (at that time) 16 year old jack russell (Bundi) was diagnosed with liver problems and placed on a prescription diet.  Being an exceptionally fussy sod, dinner time became a chore and he let me know in no uncertain terms that he wasn't happy with the food the vet recommended.  I began searching the net for alternative diets that would satisfy both his needs and those of my dalmatian (Furik) who was 4 (at that stage) & newly acquired Jack Russell puppy, Kaisha.  After much research, disgust & disbelief on information I read on commercial dry dog food and unsuccessful trials of other products, I stumbled across the BARF diet and thought I'd give it a go.  There was all round success pretty much from the first feed, firstly, Bundi loved it, and from the regular blood tests that he was subjected to, the diet did not appear to cause any major adverse effects on his ailing liver.  Prior to feeding Furik on BARF, it had, at times, been a challenge to order and locate a vegetarian based feed by Royal Canin (a product they no longer sell in Australia as there was not enough demand for it apparently), which was the only commercial dry feed that did not cause him to break out in allergies.  Within a few weeks of Furik eating (initially the chicken / turkey based products) BARF, the constant bright red of his stomach started to turn into a more healthy pale pink.  I had previously believed that red meat aggravated his allergies and caused him to break out into chicken pox type red and itchy spots.  I had limited his intake of red meat based products, including bones, because of the reactions he had previously shown.

Kara4I had a regular supply of drugs (I can not think of the name of them at this point in time) on hand for the constant break outs he suffered both from food and grasses.  I gradually tried him out on the red meat based products and found that he did not react in any way to the intake of red meat, his stomach remained a nice pale pink and the fumes that were occassionally released from his behind were not lethal to anyone who was subjected to smelling them.  He has been subjected to an anti-histamine injection in the time he has been on the BARF diet, but it was as a result of a reaction to a wasp sting, rather than his previously regular outbreaks of itcy and uncomfortable spots.  Due to the drastic change in the colouring of his skin, the (almost) complete reduction in outbreaks of allergies, I will not revert to commercial based dry foods for any of my animals (apart from my old cat, after months of trying to convert him, I lost, however, we now have the addition of another cat, who has been fed on BARF from the first day he came home and if he ever breaks into the old cats feed, he generally throws it back up again within 10 - 15 minutes of having eaten it).  The experiences with my animals on having them on a natural diet have completely re-inforced my belief in feeding them a product that is natural, preservative and additive free.  Bundi survived another 4 years on the BARF diet (much to the amazement of my vet) and only died in October last year (2010) after his arthritic body finally gave way on him."
