My name is Tracy and I live with my gorgeous dog Monte and beautiful cat Miss Ahleena in Sunbury, Victoria, Australia.  It was many years ago when I had my old Shetland Sheep Dog Quin put to rest that I remembered asking myself what I would do differently with my next dog.  Quin had lived his life on commercial dog food and lived his last few years overridden with cancer and arthritis but it was his breath and teeth that really got me thinking.  His breath, teeth and gums were absolutely putrid, he found it difficult to swallow and suffered a condition I have since familiarized myself with as Periodontal Disease.  The seed was planted and my reading, research and fascination with natural evolutionary feeding began.

My gorgeous little English Staffordshire Bull Terrier Monte entered my life and my BARF natural raw feeding research was put into practice.  I was determined to purchase my puppy from a breeder who also fed raw natural food to her dogs, that way I knew that Monte was going to be a strong healthy puppy and have the very best possible start to life.  At the start it was not easy.  I had my vet telling me not to feed raw, definitely not chicken wings and what was I doing about the calcium requirements of my young puppy?  I held my ground, changed vets and was very confident in my knowledge and intuition that I was doing the very best for my little man. 

Years later we have never looked back and I am just so sorry I did not have this knowledge earlier as I could have saved my poor old boy Quin a lot of pain and suffering.
